Zendaya is the new face of Tommy Hilfiger

Zendaya is the new global women's brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger.

The 22-year-old actress, model, and dancer follows in the footsteps of Gigi Hadid and will be featured in the label's Spring 2019 campaign. She will also design a capsule collection titled "Tommy X Zendaya". According to the brand the capsule collection celebrates self-expression, individuality, and empowerment.

'I love working with people who make their dreams come true and inspire the next generation to do the same,' said Tommy Hilfiger about the collaboration. 'Zendaya has become a global icon, using fashion to make bold statements while always staying true to herself. Our capsule collection will fuse her eclectic style with the Americana spirit of our brand,' he added.

The Tommy X Zendaya capsule collection will be unveiled in spring 2019.
