Weekday and Fila collaborate on exclusive collection

Sweedish Denim brand 'Weekday' and FILA have joined forces for a 20-piece exclusive collection.

The spring/summer 2018 collection combines the cool functional streetwear aesthetics of FILA with Weekdays own minimalistic fashion perspective. Inspired by sportswear and youth cultures it focuses on performance materials, functional cuts, and classic activewear features.

Consisting of joggers, leggings, tops, windbreakers, and shoes, the items come in colors of fresh white, black and light gray, with accents of rose, blue and subtle graphic patterns. Altogether, they are breathable, wind and water-repellent and flexibly adapt to any (training) situation thanks to their high stretch content. are made of

'The idea with this collaboration for us was to create something new and unique, that united the strengths of both brands. As an activewear collection from a minimalistic fashion perspective, it felt important to really design the garments with functionality and detailing in mind but also consider the fashion aspect of wearing sportswear,' Louise Lasson, Creative Director at Weekday said in a statement.
