French luxury jewelry brand Van Cleef & Arpels has released an updated edition of its famed Perlee collection.
Unveiled at an event at the famed Palais Bulles in Cannes, France, the new collection comprises of rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings, true to it's joyful, sparkling spirit. Five new rings adorned with golden beads (pay homage to the aesthetic of the Philippine rings of 1968), three sweet clovers bracelets and diamonds rings (inspired by the Caroline rings and bracelets from the 1970s). There are also three pairs of matching earrings in yellow, white, and rose gold and watches with the golden bead motif.
Altogether, the bold creations embody an iconic Van Cleef & Arpels style. They are joyfully feminine, and are ideal to mix and match, coming together in infinite combinations to express a personal style.
To highlight the new collection Van Cleef & Arpels teamed up with French visual artist Arthur Hoffner for a graphic and sculptural display and Photographer Erik Madigan Heck. To enhance the visual universe of the collection, Hoffner created colorful, ribbon-like sculptures featuring the golden bead motif on spheres, aluminum tubes, and blocks of marble in playful shapes and shades of coral, cobalt blue, and pale pink. Hoffner had previously collaborated with the storied house back in 2018 for an intricate installation for Milano Boutique during the Salone del Mobile.
