Uniqlo and JW Anderson team up for Spring/Summer 2022 Collection

Japanese retailer Uniqlo and Irish designer Jonathan Anderson have unveiled a Spring/Summer 2022 collection of maritime staples.

Titled UNIQLO x JW ANDERSON the capsule comprises of womenswear and menswear inspired by the rich heritage of Britain's sailing and seaside culture. Jonathan Anderson made the ocean the theme of the collection since he has a country house in Norfolk beside the English coastline, and often visits the beach near there. The mood is relaxed, light and optimistic with a youthful spirit overall. Playful hybrid fabrics, nautical patchwork and embroidery designs are central to the collection.

The Women's collection comprises of OUTERWEAR (Casual Jacket, Long Parka), SHIRTS + BLOUSES (Gather Long Sleeve Blouse), T-SHIRTS & TOPS (Flared Hem Short Sleeve T-Shirt, Flared Hem Short Sleeve Striped T-Shirt, Short Sleeve Polo Shirt), PANTS + SKIRTS(Straight High Rise Jeans, Cargo Jogger Trousers, Wrap Knot Skirt), and DRESSES (Linen Blend Belted Sleeveless Lapel Dress, Tiered Sleeveless Dress, Short Sleeve Knot Dress).

The Men's collection comprises of OUTERWEAR (Oversized Cotton Parka, Oversized Color Block Blouson), SHIRTS (Chambray Oversized Short Sleeve Shirt, Checked Work Short Sleeve Shirt, Oversized Striped Short Sleeve Shirt, Oversized Long Sleeve Shirt, Oversized Striped Long Sleeve Shirt), T-SHIRTS + SWEATS (Peter Rabbit Oversized Short Sleeve T-Shirt, Sweat Shirt, Striped Short Sleeve T-Shirt, Contrast Collar Polo Shirt), PANTS (Roll-Up Shorts, Shoe Cut Jeans, Shoe Cut Jeans).
