Tommy Hilfiger and Zendaya to debut first collaboration in Paris

Tommy Hilfiger has chosen Paris as the location for his very first show with Spiderman: Homecoming actress and singer Zendaya as its new global ambassador.

The first show will present the Tommy x Zendaya capsule collection during Paris Fashion Week and will follow the See-Now-Buy-Now principle just like the Tommy x Gigi shows. Hilfiger's previous See-Now-Buy-Now shows took place in Milan, London, New York, and Los Angeles and were gigantic social media spectacles, with an amusement park, racetrack, and Ferris wheel.

'For spring 2019, we can think of no better place to premiere the first Tommy x Zendaya collaborative collection than Paris,' Hilfiger told WWD of the decision to skip New York Fashion Week. 'Our innovative 'see-now-buy-now' experiential show will blend our Americana heritage, Zendaya's confidence and optimism, and the city's iconic elements for a truly unforgettable runway event.'

While the exact location and theme for the show has not yet been announced, what is known that it will take place on March 2, with the collection becoming available immediately after the show in Tommy Hilfiger stores and on Tommy.com.
