American luxury jeweler Tiffany & Co. has launched its first Gender-Neutral Jewelry collection for the first time in its nearly 200-year history.
Titled 'Tiffany Lock', the collection comprises of an "all-gender" bracelet designed for everyone. Produced in both the U.S. and Italy, the concept behind Tiffany Lock is 'No Rules. All Welcome.' A symbol of togetherness and inclusivity it re-envisions the idea of a padlock, an important motif from The Tiffany Archives.
The bracelet features an innovative swiveling mechanism that echoes the functionality of a padlock. Building on a legacy of groundbreaking design, this unique clasp took Tiffany & Co. artisans over one year to develop. The bracelet comes in yellow, white and rose gold - with or without diamonds.
'Tiffany Lock is an elegant interpretation of an archival functional design. Defined by modern, clean lines and a breakthrough clasp mechanism, Tiffany Lock represents an exciting new pillar of our diamond and gold jewelry offerings,' said Alexandre Arnault, Tiffany's Executive Vice President of Product and Communication.
Priced between $6,800 to $32,000, depending on make and model, the Tiffany Lock collection is available now at Tiffany & Co's website and in stores worldwide from September. Additional designs are expected to debut in early 2023.
