Swarovski launches capsule collection of Crystal Evening Bags

Austrian crystal and jewelery house Swarovski has launched a collection of crystal evening bags.

Titled 'Swarovski x Marina Raphael' the capsule was co-designed by Swarovski Global Creative Director Giovanna Battaglia Englebert and Swarovski family member Marina Raphael who runs her own handbag label. It comprises of three styles: a crystal baguette-style bag made from 1,600 colored crystal pearls; "Somnia" a mini tote bag featuring over 88 interloping crystal ringlets; and "Lucen" an evening clutch cut in the shape of a perfectly cut giant emerald crystal and designed to refract light from every angle.

'It was a great pleasure to work with Giovanna on something that is so close to her. I am honored to have been able to design and implement her unique ideas. It is very special for me to be part of the process that moves the company forward, while remaining true to its 125-year legacy,' said Marina Raphael, founder and designer of Marina Raphael.

This is the second collection from Engelbert who's debut collection 'Collection I' comprising of necklaces, earrings and body jewelery was released in March of this year.

Priced between 1,500 to 2,500 euros the Swarovski x Marina Raphael collection is available since now in selected stores as well as on Swarovski.com.
