Selena Gomez has inked a $10 million dollar endorsement deal with Coach to be the new face of the company.
The leading New York design house tapped the the 24-year-old pop star and actress, less than a week after it celebrated its 75th anniversary in NYC. In addition to being the new face of the brand, Gomez will also design her own collection.
Coach's appointment of Gomez is its latest attempt to appeal to a younger generation, something it has embarked on starting with Kid Cudi for its menswear campaign. Its no surprise, given her star power as Instagram's most-followed user and becoming the new face of Louis Vuitton. Details about its contract with the singer has not been revealed.
Coinciding with its 75th anniversary year, Coach announced the opening of its newest flagship in one of the world's most prestigious shopping districts at 685 Fifth Avenue in New York City.
