American clothing and accessories brand Rodarte has announced that it will present its Fall/Winter 2019-20 collection in Los Angeles.
The label which was founded by sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy in 2005 will be breaking with tradition of Paris and New York and going back to the golden state for the first time in 10 years. The move also makes sense for the Mulleavy's as it is very near to Pasadena where they grew up, and live. Further, California and its rich culture has been one of their most important influences and has been referenced in their collections.
'California is one of our most important influences and having our first show in Los Angeles is a dream we've long wished to make reality,' the Mulleaveys told Vogue.
'We are proud to bring our show to L.A. with our amazing team and our collaborators, Alex de Betak, and Bureau Betak and Brian Phillips and Black Frame, and to be presenting the show with JNSQ wines as they introduce an elegant rose cru.'
At the moment, the date and place of Rodarte's Fall/Winter 2019-20 show have not been revealed.
