The actress who is best know for her role as the steely, Machiavellian wife of Kevin Spacey's ruthless president in House of Cards looks timeless in a series of elegant shots photographed by David Slijper and styled by Charlie Harrington.

On the newsstand cover, Robin wears Max Mara top and Tiffany & Co cuff while on the subscribers' edition cover she wears a Ralph Lauren Collection dress and Tiffany & Co jewellery. Inside the editorial, she is seen in dresses from Boss and Prabal Gurung with jewellery by Cartier and Tiffany & Co.

In the accompanying interview with the glossy, Robin who will turn 50 on 8 April reflects on her acting career and how she has become proficient in the art of directing herself. 'I think once I tasted the directing, I didn't want to go back. That's all,' she tells Sophie Elmhirst. 'Not that bad, but with directing there's so much to learn and the challenge of something new. Not to say that you can't stop learning as an actor, but I'm not that kind of actor. I can play characters, but that's not my life force. I don't want to do that any more.'
