Rihanna & Manolo Blahnik Team Up For Shoe Collection

Rihanna and Manolo Blahnik have teamed up to create a denim inspired collection of shoes called 'Denim Desserts'.

The 'Work' singer, and stiletto maverick's brand are launching six limited-edition designs that 'incorporate the inimitable style of Manolo Blahnik with a mix of Rihanna's quirky and artistic influence.' It features sequins and embroidery influenced by the Barbadian superstar's hand tattoos that appear on designs including thigh-high boots and an open-toe sandal.

'The day I see a woman in the street wearing my shoes...I am sorry for that woman because I'm going to literally run after her, shouting, 'Stop! Selfie! Who are you? Where did you get them?' I'm going to have a moment,' Rihanna revealed in an interview that appears in the April issue of British Vogue. in a statement.

Speaking about working with Rihanna, Blahnik said: 'This is an incredibly exciting collaboration and I am absolutely thrilled with the results - working with Rihanna has been amazing and her drive, passion, creativity and style has been reflected in the designs, with fabulous results - I think everyone is going to love what they are about to see.'

Priced between $895 to $3,995 the collection will be available from May 5 in Manolo Blahnik flagship stores only (in New York, Hong Kong and London).
