Rag & Bone has announced that it will include a selection of best-selling denim and ready to wear in extended sizes from November.
The brand made the announcement after backlash to Ashley Graham's campaign. The size 12 model who is an advocate for size diversity in fashion was tapped by the denim brand to star in its new campaign, The DIY Project. Graham appears alongside Hailey Baldwin, Paris Jackson, and Bella Hadid lensed by her husband, Justin Ervin. She can be seen wearing a white Lottie T-shirt, paired with rag & bone exclusive Ankle Dre jean in Clean Deville, and pink Beha boots, while in a second image a black tank top, black Isabel Jean, and white Beha boots.
While the move to have a more body-positive campaign was a good one, fans were quick to point out that the pieces are only available in straight sizes. However, Rag & Bone clarified that in the images Ashley is wearing a size 32 jean which it currently offers. The brand has also started delivering a selection of denim with extended sizing through Nordstrom.
