Spanish bridal label Pronovias is donating wedding dresses from its Heroes Collection to engaged hospital workers around the world amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
The initiative began at the beginning of this year in China by Alessandra Rinaudo, artistic director of the Pronovias Group, where the brand has offered hundreds of engaged Chinese nurses and doctors beautiful wedding gowns. Now the brand has decided to extend the initiative further to other countries badly affected by the crisis until August 31. The offer applies to everyone who works in the hospital from doctors, to nurses, janitors and canteen staff in the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Mexico, and the United States
'How grateful we are for these heroines in hospitals around the world putting their own life at risk to save others' lives relentlessly. Donating our wedding dresses to wonderful women is the least we can do to bring happiness and joy to their wedding day, making them look and feel their best,' Pronovias CEO Amandine Ohayon said in a press release.
Pronovias recently collaborated with American model Ashley Graham on a plus-size bridal collection. The Catalonia-based brand has been worn by Irina Shayk, Pippa Middleton and Katherine Schwarzenegger.
