Prada unveils 2025 Re-Nylon Collection with campaign in Collaboration with National Geographic

Italian luxury fashion house Prada has unveiled its Re-Nylon 2025 collection with a campaign in collaboration with storytelling partner National Geographic CreativeWorks.

Marking its third year with National Geographic, the campaign delves into the origins and impact of the Prada Re-Nylon initiative in a series of four documentary films, featuring actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Sadie Sink, alongside environmental advocates and Goodwill Ambassadors Valentina Gottlieb and Giovanni Chimienti, as well as local National Geographic experts.

Showcasing the philosophy of Prada Re-Nylon, viewers are taken on a journey across the Atlantic Ocean, exploring the seas of Europe and Central America. Cumberbatch, Gottlieb and local expert Carl Hojman visit the Lofoten Archipelago of Norway, within the Arctic Circle, to examine the critical issue of plastic pollution in the Arctic.

Directed by Johnny Langenheim, the films highlight the pressing issues that our planet faces today and shed light on the urgent need for environmental action to protect marine life and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come. The devastating impact of plastic waste and ghost nets on marine biodiversity serve as a stark reminder of the unsustainable practices that threaten our oceans.

The docu-series explores fashion's ability to make a difference and create true and lasting positive change on the environment around it. A notable aspect of Prada's Re-Nylon collection is that 1 percent of the proceeds will be allocated to the SEA BEYOND educational program that seeks to raise awareness about marine conservation and the importance of preserving our natural resources.
