Following Gucci's lead, Prada has revealed the location of its upcoming Cruise show.
The Italian label will present its 2019 collection in New York on May 4, 2018, at a venue that is yet to be revealed.
The decision marks a change for Prada, who presented its first Cruise show in the Osservatorio in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a historic 19th-century gallery in Milan, last May. It was the first time that the label had dedicated a show entirely to its Cruise collection. Since 2012, the line had always been presented alongside the Spring/Summer menswear collection at Milan Fashion Week.
The announcement follows on the news of Gucci who revealed in December that its cruise collection will be shown on May 30 in the French city of Arles, while Nicolas Gesquiere chose the French Riviera for the Louis Vuitton cruise show.
