Mugler and Mytheresa release body-positive capsule collection

Iconic French fashion house Mugler has designed an exclusive body-positive capsule collection for German luxury online retailer Mytheresa.

Titled 'Mugler x Mytheresa' the capsule comprises of 17-pieces of bodysuits, leggings, cutout dresses, suiting and second-skin silhouettes in colorways of new hot pink, bright blue and crystallized nude.

'Mugler is a great partner for us and I wanted to give them something that we don't usually offer in our collection. We have been playing a lot with illusion and graphics lately. It is a way of really taking our understanding of the body and how we do cuts and shapes at Mugler to another level - where you don't even know how the garment is holding itself together. The idea is of using impossible fit and impossible necklines and using illusion to fill in the holes to make the garment look like it's defying gravity,' said Mugler creative director Casey Cadwallader.
