Miu Miu and New Balance collaborate on Exclusive Capsule

Italian fashion house Miu Miu and American sportswear brand New Balance have teamed up for an exclusive capsule of sneakers.

Bringing high class to comfortable sneakers, the collection was first shown on the Spring/Summer 2022 runway last October in Paris and marks Miu Miu's first ever sneaker collaboration. Titled Miu Miu X New Balance it comprises of a reimagined version of New Balance's classic shoe 574.

The 574 which was created in 1988, was originally as an experiment combining a road and trail running shoe. It started as a go-anywhere runner and went on to become New Balance's first true go-anywhere shoe.

This time around it has been reimagined by Miu Miu head designer and founder Miuccia Prada, and comes in three colorways: white, royal blue and colonial beige with a dual-branded tongue tag and denim N on the mid-panel of the shoe. Saying true to the collection's motto to 'use the existing to create the new' the shoe offers reliability and comfort with a carefree and ambitious spirit.
