Following her
June cover for the American issue of Vogue, Margot Robbie has landed another milestone as the new face of Calvin Klein's deep euphoria fragrance.
The 26-year-old Australian actress was photographed by Craig McDean in New York City. In the first campaign image, she appears in a purple sequined Calvin Klein Collection dress, laying on a velvet couch. While a hunky shirtless model lounges on the armrest of the couch. Artistic direction was by Trey Laird. In addition to the print campaign, Calvin Klein released a promotional video via Instagram.
'I'm thrilled to be the face of Deep Euphoria Calvin Klein,' the Legend of Tarzan star said in a statement.
'This is my first advertising campaign and I am honored it is with Calvin Klein, an iconic brand I have known and loved for many years.'
Describing the idea behind the perfume campaign Melisa Goldie, chief marketing officer for Calvin Klein said,
'Calvin Klein women are provocative and liberated, and the Deep Euphoria woman embodies all of these facets with an added layer of adventure. We see Ms. Robbie, who is a risk-taker, really exploring the multiple aspects of her personality through fantasy during the Deep Euphoria Calvin Klein advertising campaign.'
Created by perfumer Honorine Blanc and fragrance consultant Ann Gottlieb, the Deep Euphoria scent features hints of white pepper, geranium, jasmine sambac and patchouli. It will debut at Macy's stores in September and will retail for $52 to $92.
