Louis Vuitton chronicles Its visual history in a New Book which is set to release this fall.
The book chronicles the famous brand through advertising and editorial images dating back to the 1920s, and will contain nearly 200 images by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Henry Clarke, Patrick Demarchelier, Annie Leibovitz, Peter Lindbergh, Craig McDean, Steven Meisel, Helmut Newton, Juergen Teller, Mario Testino, and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, among others.
Published by Rizzoli New York, the limited edition 352 page volume will feature a white canvas cover with one of three different photographs, by Demarchelier, McDean or Bert Stern. It will be available starting Oct. 1 in English and French versions in select Louis Vuitton stores worldwide and through
louisvuitton.com for 100 euros and $130. The bookstore edition will be sold beginning Oct. 15 for 75 euros and $85.
