Louis Vuitton for BMW i8: the combination of luxuries

Fans of the first BMW plug-in hybrid i8 now have more reason to love the car. Design house Louis Vuitton has collaborated with BMW to debut the set of 4 luggages and bags that are exclusively designed for i8.

The sports car first made its appearance at last year's Frankfurt show. It is the first hybrid car by BMW. What makes i8 different lies in the perfect synchronisation of electric motor and combustion engine, plus the attractive sports design.

Understand all of the great figures, Louis Vuitton gladly introduces the set of luggage made from carbon fibres- perfect material that matches the car's lightweight engineering.

In talking of the collaboration, Head of Special Orders at Louis Vuitton, Patrik states that "This collaboration with BMW epitomizes our shared values and creativity, technological innovation and style. This is a pure expression of the art of travel" The luggage set is made entirely from carbon fibres, transformed into a charcoal grey fabric in legendary Damier pattern. The set includes a large travel bag (the weekender) that you can carry in your hand or on your shoulder, fits nicely into the boot of BMW i8. In the rear shelf you can store a garment bag, while under the rear seats you can fit in a hard-shelf business case and a small weekender on top. The travel essentials are available in Louis Vuitton store from April in New York City, London, Paris, Milan, Munich, Moscow, Dubai, and Los Angeles and will also debut in Shanghai and Tokyo in the beginning of September.
