Lea Seydoux poses nude for Louis Vuitton's Capucines Campaign

French actor and Bond girl Lea Seydoux fronts the campaign of Louis Vuitton's latest Capucines.

Inspired by iconic portraits of Marilyn Monroe by Eve Arnold and Bert Stern, the global ambassador of the maison was lensed in Paris by Steven Meisel, under the artistic direction of Nicolas Ghesquiere. In a pure and stripped back setting, Seydoux poses nude between the sheets whilst embracing the new Capucines in black Taurillon leather which retails for 5,100 USD. Altogether, the campaign imagery focuses on the intimate relationship between a woman and her handbag.

'The Capucines represents the essence of French savoir-faire. I'm very honored to be the Capucines ambassador as it's a handbag I love and wear all the time. There is no brand more iconic than LV. It is such an honor to work with Nicolas. I always feel welcome and we have so much fun collaborating together,' Seydoux said in a statement.

Named after Rue Neuve-des-Capucines, where Louis Vuitton opened his first store in 1854, the Capucines bag has become one of the great classics of Louis Vuitton since its creation in 2013. The new collection comes in three sizes and a full range of 10 colors, exemplifying the Maison's values of creativity, outstanding craftsmanship, and unparalleled traditional savoir-faire.

The Louis Vuitton new Capucines collection will officially hit stores on April 1st. Meanwhile check out the stunning campaign imgery here
