Karl Lagerfeld's famous cat is the highest paid cat in fashion

Choupette Lagerfeld is the richest cat in the world. The blue-eyed siamese cat is said to have raked in 3 million euros from two modeling gigs; one for japanese cosmetics brand Shu Uemura and the other for a Vauxhall Corsa car calendar.

Speaking with The Cut Lagerfeld said: “She did two jobs and made 3 million euros last year, One was for cars in Germany and the other was for a Japanese beauty product. I don’t allow her to do foodstuffs and things like this. She’s too sophisticated for that.” the Chanel and Fendi creative director added.

The adorable kitty has been the subject of books, has her own beauty collection and "runs" an Instagram account with more than 52K followers. She is also the cover star of Lucky magazine's special edition April fools day issue.

"She hates other animals and she hates children. She stays always with me and she has two personal maids. They play with her, they have to take care of her beautiful white hair, the beauty treatments for her eyes, and they entertain her. She is the centre of the world. If you saw her, you would understand. She is kind of Greta Garbo. There is something unforgettable about her, the way she moves, the way she plays. She's an inspiration for elegance. For attitude." Lagerfeld said

Well, whoever would guess that a celebrity car would beat Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton and Daria Werbowy by booking two gigs.
