Legendary Designer Karl Lagerfeld is being given a much overdue fashion retrospective of his own. With an illustrious 60 year career to date, the retrospective will showcase his decades of designing work for fashion houses like Chanel, Fendi, Balmain, Patou and Chloé.
The Bundeskunsthalle museum in Bonn, Germany will run the exhibit titled 'Karl Lagerfeld: Modemethode,' from March 28 until September 13 2015. It describes it as the "first comprehensive exhibition to explore the fashion cosmos of this exceptional designer". News of the the show has been around since it was announced last year but more details have started to pour in courtesy of Vogue international editor Suzy Menkes.
'The Karl Lagerfeld exhibition in Bonn Germany starts with this drawing and a re-incarnation of his desk with its piles of books, pencils, crayons and the paper - fresh or crumpled and discarded - which is the theme of the show.' Menkes said after previewing the show today on her Instagram.
The exhibition will be a treat for admirers of Lagerfeld who is a legend and trend setter in the world of fashion.
