Julia Roberts is the new face of Givenchy's Spring 2015 campaign. The 47-year-old beauty appears in a gorgeous image captured by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Sporting a sleek tuxedo and sheer shirt the mother of three looks absolutely stunning as she shows off her natural beauty.
Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci said Roberts was the perfect star for the job because she "represents such a mature woman."
“I decided to make her more intellectual, more serious, more pure,” he told WWD.
“It’s a different, fresh, new way to see Julia — really cool and urban, I think.”
According to E Online, the Oscar winner was paid "not a lot" for the endorsement deal (close to the $1 million range) which is far less than what Jennifer Lawrence is earning for her three year deal with Dior. However it is said that Roberts did not sign on for the monetary gain but did it for the high-end luxury association and because it was beautiful imagery shot by Mert & Marcus, who are the biggest and best photographers.
