H&M is set to release its A/W18 womenswear collection next month.
Entitled 'Neo-Noir Chic', the new studio collection comprises of clothing, shoes, and accessories and was inspired by the original cult 90's series Twin Peaks. The series, which was directed by David Lynch, featured a lot of fashion reminiscent of the fifties and nineties, including waist trousers, pencil skirts, oversized jackets, androgynous suits and trench coats.
Key pieces from the collection include wool dresses and nipped-in coated cotton trench coats, indigo precision denim jackets, sturdy turn-up jeans, grunge-infused viscose-silk suit, hairy cropped knits and elegant neck-tie blouses.
'With H&M Studio, we love the play between the feminine and masculine and this year we added a 50's twist - there are ultra-feminine options combined with mannish details and super-classic pieces that invite you to create your own distinctive look,' said Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M's Design Director in a press release.
The new H & M Studio A/W18 womenswear collection will be available to buy online and in selected stores from 6 September.
