The wait is finally over. The first three images of the much-anticipated Kenzo x H&M collaboration shot by Oliver Hadlee Pearch have debuted.
For the campaign Kenzo creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon chose young creative people and activists namely; Amy Sall (a New York-based student and activist), Juliana Huxtable (a New York artist, poet, and DJ), Isamaya Ffrench (a London-based makeup artist) and Oko Ebombo (a musician and performance artist from Paris). Together they model the print-heavy designs from the up-coming collection that are strikingly different from the 2015 Balmain collaboration and include a tiger-print jersey turtleneck, long black leather gloves and an oversized leather jacket with bright pink faux shearling lining.
'We really put our heart and soul into how it will look. We just love what they do,' Humberto Leon told Vogue.
Kenzo follows in the footsteps of Balmain, Stella McCartney, Marni, Karl Lagerfeld and Comme des Garcons, who have all previously collaborated with H&M on their guest designer project.
The exclusive collection will release on November 3 at 250 select H&M stores worldwide.
