Givenchy's SS16 campaign stars a multiracial cast of 27 models.
Shot in Manhattan, photographed by renown duo
Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and styled by Carine Roitfeld, the inspirational campaign has famous faces like such as Mariacarla Boscono, Natalia Vodianova, Lara Stone, Joan Smalls, Miranda Kerr, Candice Swanepoel, Iselin Steiro and Gemma Ward, as well as new faces like Isis Bataglia, Lexi Boling, Leila Goldkuhl, Kris Gottschalk, Imaan Hammam, Issa Lish, Lineisy Montero and Greta Varlese, all modelling the French fashion house' delicate monochrome pieces.
'Everyone can do something very small, some gesture of love. I'm not saying this will change the world, but the world will be better. I'm a big believer in positive energy, and I'm sure this energy will spread,' Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci told WWD.
'People have given me so much love and so much respect and this has helped me to grow.'
Tisci also mentioned that his choice for a wide cast of models from different races and backgrounds were part of his belief in the 'power of Love' mantra to promote diversity and a message of unity. Each of the campaign images are accompanied by a specially written short poem by singer Antony Hegarty aka Anohni.
