Gigi Hadid and Frankies Bikinis collaborate on Americana-Inspired Swimwear line

Gigi Hadid and Los Angeles beachwear and lifestyle brand Frankies Bikinis have teamed up for an Americana-Inspired Swimwear collection.

Titled 'Gigi x Frankies Bikinis' the collection which marks the tenth anniversary of the brand was inspired by Hadid's life on her farm in Pennsylvania. Francesca Aiello, founder of Frankies Bikinis chose Hadid who is a longtime friend she grew up together with in Malibu. Together, they designed the collection which comprises of 98 pieces of swimsuits and loungewear across two drops in sizes XS-XXL.

All of the pieces are full of femininity and feature bows, ruffles, florals and plaid prints. There are plenty of personal touches such as a tree stump detail with G+F etched out to symbolize Hadid's friendship with Aiello and a fawn and doe design which symbolizes Gigi and her daughter Khai.

'We designed this collection with so much love, and I believe that really shines through in the details within the fabrics, prints and styles we chose to use. Both Frank and I have very social lives but also are big homebodies, and the collection really embodies that side of us,' Hadid said.

'The opportunity to work with Gigi on this collection has been a dream come true. We grew up spending our days at the beach in bikinis, so to be able to now design a collection of swimwear and loungewear-something that we grew up living in-together is really a full circle moment for the both of us,' Aiello added.

Priced between 45 - 185 USD, the Gigi x Frankies Bikinis capsule collection will be released across two drops: the first on May 11 featuring 56 styles with and the second on June 2 with 42 additional styles. Meanwhile check out the stunning campaign images here.
