Fashion Philosophy: fashion week poland

Fashion Philosophy Fashion Week Poland is the largest fashion event in Poland. Gathering the most covetable fashion brands as well as the 'newbies' in the fashion world, the event offers the whole variety of fashion shows, exhibitions, off schedule events and the massive showroom area.

The 13th edition of the Polish Fashion Week was organised in the heart of the city of Lodz (central Poland), in one of the most prestigious venues - Double Tree Hilton Hotel. The FWPL has featured around 30 shows during four days and 60 designer boxes in the showroom area. According to the international Partner's Programme (the international designer exchange), the Fashion Week gave a blast to the fashion designers from Lisboa, Berlin, Maastricht and Serbian talents. The atmosphere of the international cooperation appeared to be very inspirational.

Every single fashion show was different in a very fashionable way, with the great performance of professional models and unique choreography. The strongest elements were the feminine cuts that the designers are constantly promoting and the extraordinary textiles as Lodz is the city that is very famous for the textile design. Now there is no doubt that the polish fashion and design is out of the shadows.

Poland has not only its own fashion houses, fashion brands, photographers but also the influential TV shows. Two fashion-focused TV-programmes (as popular as the cooking , dancing and singing programmes) 'Project Runway Poland' and 'Top Model Poland' have reunited together to create the cooperation. The Fashion Philosophy Fashion Week Poland is organized twice a year and, we have to admit, we are looking forward for what is it going to bring us in the spring.
