Could Sarah Burton be the one to replace Raf Simons at Dior?

According to the rumor mill, Burton is said to be in talks with the French fashion house following Simmons' sudden departure, and could soon leave Alexander McQueen. Burton is well known for designing the famous wedding dress of Kate Middleton on the day of her wedding to Prince William.

2015 saw three major French houses - Balenciaga, Christian Dior, and Lanvin - all of which lost their creative directors, with only Balenciaga having named a replacement, Demna Gvasalia. More recently, Hedi Slimane is rumored to depart Saint Laurent, according to a new report by WWD.

Neither Dior or Burton have confirmed anything yet.
