Coach unveils inspiring campaign starring new Global Ambassador Lil Nas X

American fashion house Coach has unveiled a campaign featuring its new Global Ambassador Lil Nas.

Titled 'The Courage to Be Real' the short film tells the story of Lil Nas X's courageous evolution to become the person he is today, and the obstacles he overcame along the journey. Directed and Photographed by Petra Collins, it follows Lil Nas X through rooms that represent moments in his life from his early days in the Atlanta suburbs, to achieving fame through music. In each room, he moves through doors that represent the struggles he has faced.

Celebrating courage, confidence and authentic self-expression, a capsule inspired by the film has been released. Priced between 65 USD and 2600 USD it encompasses Backpacks, Bags, Belts, Clothes, Hats, Jewelry, Outerwear, Pouches, Shoes, Sunglasses, Travel Accessories, and Wallets.

Lil Nas X made his debut for the brand's Spring-Summer 2023 show during New York Fashion Week on September 12. As the fashion house's latest global brand ambassador he joins a legacy of trailblazers like Jennifer Lopez, Megan Thee Stallion, and Noah Beck.

'My whole career has been about breaking down doors, and this campaign represents everything I've overcome so far. It's about walking into new chapters of life, new experiences and new versions of myself, and it's rooted in authenticity and self expression two things I really care about. It was really fun collaborating with Stuart and Petra to bring this to life,' said Lil Nas X.
