Cindy Crawford has collaborated with Los Angeles-based denim label Re/Done to design a capsule collection.
Aptly titled 'The Crawford', the five-part 90s-style collection includes T-shirts, sweatshirts and jeans that are hand-sewn mid-rise straight leg pants in four different denim designs ($240-$328). Other highlights include a Cindy Crawford hoodie printed with a picture from 1991 by Marco Glaviano ($260), a crewneck sweatshirt in white, black or gray with her signature emblazoned on the sleeve ($235) and short and long-sleeved vintages tees ($125 and $160).
The 51-year-old supermodel told Vogue US that her partnership with the innovative denim brand came about last May when she posted a TBT of herself in Levi's 501 jeans.
'I remember when I was obsessed with my red-tag 501s, and Levi's were all we wore. So when I started following Re/Done on Instagram, I posted a picture of me in old Levi's from back in the '90s with a caption like, I was doing Re/Done before Re/Done.'. Founders Sean Barron and Jamie Mazur saw the post and approached Crawford for the collaboration.
Re/Done was founded back in 2014 and is well known for turning old Levi's into designer-level jeans by taking them apart and tailoring them into more modern shapes.
To celebrate the launch, an Ad campaign featuring Crawford and lensed by Sebastian Faena was released. Further, 20 pieces were initially available on Re/Done's Instagram through swipe-to-shop. The full collection will launch mid-September in Barneys in New York, Colette, Roan Herman Japan and
