Balenciaga will be opening a copyshop at Dover Street Market in London, where visitors can have customized designs printed on T-shirts.
The launch follows on the introduction of the clothing printer, during its takeover at concept store Colette in Paris last summer. At the Dover Street Market customers will find two office-style printing workstations from which they can self-configure their own designs.
Via touch screens they will be able to access a library of Balenciaga graphics and logotypes and then have them printed directly on a shirt. The T-shirts are available in black, white, gray and red and come in two sizes for both men and women. On the back of each T-shirt is the slogan, 'Balenciaga Do It Yourself Ts'.
Customers can find all kinds of video screens with exclusive images and a sculpture by Mark Jenkins. Together with the launch of the copy shop, Balenciaga will also be launching an exclusive variant of the TripleS sneaker which will be available in all Dover Street Markets worldwide.
The Balenciaga Copyshop at Dover Street Market will be open for business from 30 November to 17 December.
