AZ Factory taps Jenny Hytonen for next Couture Project



Paris-based luxury fashion brand AZ Factory has tapped Jenny Hytonen to imagine its next collection.


The Finnish and Paris-based designer is the winner of the the Grand Prix du Jury Premiere Vision and the Audience Award during the 37th edition of the Hyeres International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Fashion Accessories in 2022. Her designs are created through the use of traditional craftsmanship, combined with more experimental technologies and are recognizable for their elaborate and sensual structures.

Hytonen has a passion for knitwear, leather, artisanal techniques and experimental technologies. She has worked for Olivier Theyskens, Galeries Lafayette and Chinese cashmere specialist Icicle for whom she created two exclusive lines.


Launched in 2020 by the late designer Alber Elbaz, AZ Tennis aims to promote fashion that is 'beautiful, practical and focused on solutions that work for everyone' dedicated to all body types. Each season the house opens its studio to serve emerging designers and promising creators whom it describes as Amigos.

Hytonen joins the ranks of South African Thebe Magugu, Norman Rene Devera, Peter Movrin, Ester Manas, Lutz Huelle, Tennessy Thoreson and Lora Sonney who have collaborated with the house. She will present her 10-piece collection during the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week scheduled for January 22 to 25 2024.
