Arket is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a new collection.
The collection consists of fashion classics and core wardrobe components such as a heavy wool coat, a fine trench coat, a black trouser suit, a universal silk top, cropped rigid vintage jeans, slim poplin shirt, and knitwear.
'Many of these products have been with us from the beginning and are what we will refer to in the years to come - all garments are easy to wear, defined by functional elegance and designed to be the building blocks of a versatile everyday uniform,' said Creative Director Ulrika Bernhardtz on the new collection.
The H&M owned brand which launched on September 7 last year offering timeless and branded products, has become a fashion staple.
The label which has stores in London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Munich plans to open a fifth outlet in Berlin in late autumn 2018. While the exact date has not yet been set, it will be situated in the west of Berlin next to the legendary Cafe Kranzler on Ku'damm. The Grade II listed glass building on Kurfurstendamm 19-24 will house two floors of Arket's ready-to-wear, accessories and home wear.
