Adwoa Aboah debuts second Jewelry collection

British fashion model and activist Adwoa Aboah has unveiled her second jewelry collection with Bali-based fine jewelry company John Hardy.

Titled 'Mad Love' the 14 piece collection (which is her second since 2018) comprises of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and piercings, made of recycled gold or silver. Woven by Balinese artisans from sustainable materials, the pieces feature openwork heart pendants modeled after Aboah's doodles.

At the core of the collection is the message of celebrating love, acceptance of oneself and others as well as inclusivity, something that is synonymous with Gurls Talk, an organization Aboah founded to advocate for the mental health of girls and young women.

'It was important for me to work closely with John Hardy on this collection. Each design tells a meaningful story and can be given to a loved one or to yourself. I love receiving jewelry for myself and the independence they represent. 'Mad Love' is about what I can't put into words: how much I care about that person or that community. It's my approval for everything,' said Aboah in a statement.

The 'Mad Love' collection is available on johnhardy.com, in John Hardy and Nordstrom stores.
