Virgil Abloh launches orange Louis Vuitton collection

Virgil Abloh is launching an exclusive, limited-edition all orange capsule collection for Louis Vuitton.

The 38-year-old designer and men's artistic director of the French fashion house had initially teased a photo of an orange sneaker on his Instagram account which led to speculation of a full collection. Now that it is confirmed details of the collection have been revealed. There will be six different fully orange products including sneakers, sunglasses with orange lenses, baseball caps with the brand's monogram design and backpacks that will be sold alongside pieces from Louis Vuitton's Fall 2019 collection.

The new items will go on sale at a Vuitton pop-up in Chicago on West Randolph Street in the West Loop neighborhood from June 8 until July 7. From June 10 to Sept. 22 there will be a retrospective 'Figures of Speech' at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago offering bestselling OFF-WHITE pieces as well as new exclusive items inspired by the exhibition.
