Sessun launches Competition dedicated to Young Professionals

Marseilles label Sessun has launched an international prize on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.

Titled 'Sessun Craft Prize' the contest is open to all students and young professionals under the age of 35. Organized in collaboration with the Marseille based design workplace Massilia, it is a new way to prove Sessun's attachment to know-how, design and craftsmanship, as well as its desire to encourage and bring to light the new generation of creators.

From March 13 to May 7, 2023, participants can submit their interpretation and their vision of a space designed to accommodate one or two people in which they can isolate themselves in order to rest or work. The space must be intimate, protective, comfortable and must respect criteria essential to the brand, namely eco-responsibility, feasibility, creativity and functionality.

On May 22nd, a jury comprising of Emma Francois - Founder of Sessun, Nathalie Dewez - Designer and founder of Massilia Design, Julia Rouzaud - Founder and director of Goodmoods, Marion Mailaender - Interior designer, Isis-Colombe Combreas - Publishing Director of Milk Decoration, Cobalto Studio and Jaune Studio will select three winners.

The winner of the 1st Prize will get to exhibit their work on the third floor of the company's new offices, based in Marseille as well as a prize of 1500 Euros and a Sessun purchase voucher worth 1000 Euros. Winners of the 2nd and 3rd prize will get a Sessun purchase voucher worth 1000 Euros and 500 Euros respectively.
