Italian luxury goods Salvatore Ferragamo has appointed Maximilian Davis as its new artistic director effective March 16,
The 26-year-old succeeds American footwear designer Paul Andrew who left the brand in April 2021. Born in Manchester, Davis graduated from London College of Fashion, and founded his eponymous brand in 2020 that attracted immediate international recognition. Earlier this month, he had dropped out of the LVMH Prize semifinals

In his new role, Davis will work alongside CEO Marco Gobbetti. His first collection for Salvatore Ferragamo will debut during the brands' runway show in Milan next season.
