Prada and Adidas team up for special collection

Prada and Adidas are joining forces for a special sneaker collection.

The Italian luxury house and Europe's largest sportswear manufacturer announced the collaboration with a teaser image on social media of two Adidas shoeboxes ensconced into Prada's embossed shopping bag with the hashtag #PradaforAdidas.

The collection is a new collaborative journey and will consist of two reimagined signatures that draw on the rich patrimony and iconography of both labels. It also marks the first time that Prada has joined in the collaboration fever that has hit other luxury brands. The shoes will be entirely manufactured by Prada in their Italian factory and will be released in December 2019.

Other than the above not much information has been disclosed by both brands. However, it is predicted that the sneakers will be two distinct models with a price tag of 350 USD and a color palette of Core White/Metallic Silver/Red under a Sailing namesake.
