German luxury online retailer Mytheresa is launching a gender-neutral collection from Saint Laurent.
On the occasion of the launch of menswear fashion the luxury online shop will also sell gender-neutral pieces from the Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
The exclusive pre-launch collection consists of four looks that blur the lines between masculinity and femininity: double-breasted blazers in black and white tones, leather and jacquard pants, tank tops and silk shirts. The associated campaign images were lensed by Marlene Marino and feature Tes Linnenkoper and Lennon Gallagher.
'The launch of men's fashion on Mytheresa is a really exciting and important development for our company. We will apply our very successful DNA of curation, shopping efficiency and creative content to menswear at a moment when the market is undergoing a clear change; we believe our offer of a more elevated interpretation of menswear in a post-streetwear,' said Michael Klinger, chief executive officer and president of Mytheresa.
Mytheresa's menswear launches today with around 120 brands. Notable brands of Mytheresa Men will include brands that are available on its womenswear portfolio such as Prada, Gucci, Loewe, Bottega Veneta, Valentino, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Maison Margiela, Loro Piana, and Brunello Cucinelli. There will also be brands exclusive to the men's section, such as Bode, Caruso, Craig Green, Ermenegildo Zegna, Lanvin, Lemaire, Ralph Lauren Purple Label, Rochas, Santoni, and Wales Bonner.
