Luxury conglomerate Louis Vuitton has been announced as one of the prestigious partners of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The deal which is worth 150 million euros further cements its connection with the sporting world. Other partners of Paris 2024 include French bank BPCE, worldwide telecommunications company Orange, as well as energy group EDF, hypermarket chain Carrefour, and Sanofi, a pharmaceutical group.
As part of the partnership between LVMH and its Maisons - Louis Vuitton, Dior and Berluti will provide direct support ahead of the Games for athletes whose exemplary achievements make them Artisans of All Victories. The first athlete is, Leon Marchand who, at the age of 21, is among the leading medal hopes for the French Olympic team. The five-time world champion and new record-holder in the 400-meter individual medley will represent Louis Vuitton as Ambassador for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
During the Olympic and Paralympic Games, LVMH-owned luxury jeweller Chaumet will design both the Olympic and Paralympic medals while Moet Hennessy wines and spirits Maisons will provide their exceptional products as part of hospitality programs.
