Lanvin announces Rapper Future as First Guest Creative of Lanvin Lab

French luxury fashion house Lanvin has invited Grammy-winning American rapper Future to design a capsule collection of ready-to-wear and accessories for women and men.

Titled 'Lanvin X Future', the capsule marks the first release of Lanvin Lab-a space to dream and play. Focusing on Music, it will celebrate ground-breaking and individualistic vision that bridges a gap between music and fashion.

Lanvin Lab seeks to foster creative collaboration and unique cultural dialogue with projects taking the form of collaborative collections that will complement the seasonal ones. It will actively invite creatives from an array of disciplines to help articulate and expand the house's storied heritage and codes.

It is also a beautiful tribute to its eponymous creator, Jeanne Lanvin, who was an arbiter of culture, Her muse was none other than her daughter, Marguerite, an accomplished musician who widely inspired the house's mythology and frequently collaborated with French composer Francis Poulenc.

The Lanvin X Future collection is slated for an Autumn 2023 release.
