New York-based women's ready-to-wear label Khaite has teamed up with German e-commerce company Mytheresa for an exclusive capsule collection.
Just in time for Summer, the capsule comprises of bralettes, loosely cut skirts, shorts and midi dresses in a timeless Vichy check pattern. The 'Vichy' is a traditional two-tone pattern made of square checks that became famous when Brigitte Bardot married actor Jacques Charrier in 1959 in a dress made of pink and white Vichy fabric. Priced between 500 and 2000 Euros the exclusive pieces seem like the perfect companions this season.
Khaite was launched in 2016 by designer Cate Holstein and epitomizes contemporary-chic wardrobing for the modern woman. The interplay of striking, masculine silhouettes and soft, feminine fabrics and cuts is an important point of every collection. In January of this year, Katie Holmes was photographed on the streets of New York wearing a buttoned cardigan with a heart neckline from the label, and ever since then everyone has been talking about Khaite.
The 'MyTheresa x Khaite' is available now globally on Mytheresa.com.
