Jacquemus will present its next fashion show at the Palace of Versailles

French label Jacquemus will present its next fashion show during the spring-summer 2024 men's fashion week at the Palace of Versailles. The historic monument has served as the principal residence of the French kings from the time of Louis XIV to Louis XVI and has been used by mega-brands like Dior and Chanel as a backdrop for their shows and advertising campaigns.

'I am so happy to announce that we will present our next collection Le Chouchou at Le Chateau de Versailles on June 26th, 2023. It's going to be a very special moment, I am honored to be able to present my next collection in such a historical place. I cannot wait to share more with you about this collection and this unique project,' Designer Simon Porte Jacquemus said in an Instagram post on June 14.

The announcement follows on the heels of the brand opening a ephemeral boutique and beach club in partnership with the Indie Beach restaurant in Ramatuelle, not far from Saint-Tropez. Jacquemus is known for staging cinematic runway displays in spectacular locations such as Hawaii and Camargue, and staging a show in Versailles has always been a childhood dream of the designer as well as one of his greatest creative inspirations.
