Gucci will present its Cruise 2020 collection in Rome at the Capitoline Museums, the oldest museum complex in the world.
According to the Italian luxury brand, the choice of location continues Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele's dialogue with the old world, drawing from a place reminiscent of his childhood. Located on the Capitoline Hill, the Museums offer a unique look inside the centuries-old history of Ancient Rome through a rich antiquities collection.
Gucci has also pledged to support the project of the Tarpeian Rock at the south side of the Capitoline Hill over the next two years.
While Gucci is heading to Rome, Dior will present its Resort 2020 Collection in the Moroccan city of
Marrakech on April 29, Prada in New York on May 2, Chanel in Paris on May 3, and Louis Vuitton in New York on May 8.
The Gucci Cruise 2020 show will take place on May 28.
