Glossier, the beauty brand of Emily Weiss, founder of Into the Gloss and former beauty editor at the American Vogue, has opened its first flagship store in New York.
Located at 123 Lafayette Street in the city's SoHo neighborhood, the three-story 5,500 square foot boutique was designed by Gachot Studios in collaboration with architecture practice PRO. The interiors are inspired by the favorite pink shades and red accents of the beauty label's rosy branding and pink bubblewrap packaging and are very Instagram worthy. There is even a 'Boy Brow Room', named after Glossier's best-selling product the Boy Brow and catchups with Glossier's editors.
The new boutique has opened hot on the heels Glossier's New York headquarters, which just a 14-minute walk away. Last year, the beauty brand opened a pop-up store which was a big success. The brand was founded in 2014 after Weiss saw opportunities for a beauty line focused on millennials.
