Dutch designer Danielle Cathari has launched her fourth collection in collaboration with Adidas Originals.
Titled 'Danielle Cathari x Adidas' the 23-piece Fall/Winter 2019 collection consists of Danielle's signature deconstructed Adidas tracksuits as well as new streetwear for both women and men. There is also workwear with boxy blazers, loose-fitting trousers, and shorts in soft pique fabric. The color palette includes muted, washed tones, as well as light mauve, white, black, gray, orange and red. Just like with the debut collection, Adidas ambassador Kendall Jenner is once again the face of the campaign.
'I wanted to evolve the concept of deconstruction that is always a big influence for me, and also expand the range into slightly more mature silhouettes,' Cathari said of the new collection. 'It was also important to us that this time we had unisex sizing options for the guys as there was a lot of interest from them with the first collection.'
Cathari's collaboration with Adidas began in September 2017, when she presented her collection of 'deconstructed' Adidas tracksuits during the VFiles show at New York Fashion Week. Since then three fast-selling collections of iconic Adidas styles remixed into hyper-feminine silhouettes have been released with Jenner as model and muse.
The 'Danielle Cathari x Adidas' collection is available now on adidas.com, Adidas Originals Stores and in selected stores.
