Cecilie Bahnsen unveils collaboration with Charles & Keith

Copenhagen based designer, Cecilie Bahnsen has teamed up with Singaporean fashion footwear and accessories retailer Charles & Keith.

Together they have unveiled an exclusive shoe collection that comprises of four classic styles - three Mary Jane designs and a distinctive mule that have been reinterpreted by Bahnsen and is beautifully finished with her signature couture-like touch. The pieces in the capsule were created with upcycled leftover fabrics from Bahnsen's previous collections and take inspiration from traditional school wear - a recurring theme in her work.

Altogether, the collection appeals to the Bahnsen's creative sensibility and is in line with her signature aesthetic. 'It's been really exciting to see how we can translate our universe into a shoe. It almost felt like we were morphing our dresses into a shoe,' Bahsen said of the collaboration.
