Camille Charriere designs capsule collection for Aeyde

Titled 'Camille Charriere x Aeyde' the collection comprises of three pieces with French chic that play with the topic of duality and the forces of the moon. Inspired by the swinging sixties and Camille's adopted home of London, the three-part line includes both ankle boots and loafers. Charriere designed the collection via Zoom, due to the Covid outbreak which prevented her and the Aeyde team from meeting in person and visiting the brand's factories.

The signature piece of the collection is Camille: a retro style high shaft ankle boot in monochrome creamy white, inspired by the Sixties featuring a mid-height block heel and a rounded toe. The loafer Gwyneth is a modern and feminine take on the traditional men's dress shoes that features a low block heel and soft toe line in black and creamy white leather. Last but not least there's Diana, a tomboy cowboy inspired boot featuring an extra high shaft, an angular block heel and a leather elasticated gusset.

Together, all three pieces can be styled with jeans or cozy knitted dresses and make the perfect everyday companion. According to Charriere each shoe has its own personality and reflects the many aspects of our own personality. Prices range between 295 euros for loafers and 445 euros for cowboy boots.

Charriere who also stars in the campaign shoot used vintage pieces or sustainable brands from her own wardrobe as she wanted to inspire women to not only play around with the pieces they already own such as a denim shirt and jeans but also show them how to take these shoes from day to night.
